Commuting Statistics

2002 - 2001 - 2000 - 1999

Since the start of 1999, I've tracked the number of one-way trips I've taken and the method of transportation used. I've been doing this for myself, but I thought other people might be interested in seeing the stats. Now that I'm not commuting, I'm just leaving it up for historical purposes.

The bicycle mileage figure indicates how far I rode that month where I would have normally taken either a bus or a car. This does not include bicycle trips to the store or recreational bicycle trips, just commuting to/from work and school.

Notes for 2002:
My commute is currently between home and work, approximately 10 miles depending on the route. I plan to cycle 3-4 times per week, avoiding the rainiest days.
