My goal for the year 2001 was to beat my previous year's milage (1850). I did this and then a few more miles, beating my 2000 goal of 2000 miles by almost 600. This was my first full year working at the same job and not changing my commute distance. I wimped out a bit in Novemeber and December, hope to get back into the swing of things in 2002.
